Who We Are

This blog isn't pro-Obama, pro-McCain, or Republican. We are independent-minded and will call out sexism and misogyny wherever we see it even if it is within the Democratic Party and the progressive movement.

We supported Hillary Clinton in the Democratic Primary and are concerned with President Obama's backtracks on campaign promises. Here are a number of things that Obama has backtracked on or have taken a much more conservative stance since winning the Democratic nomination: FISA, universal health care, social security, Medicare, gay rights, and abortion.

We are concerned that our nation's feminists have become too invested in the Obama presidency to call him out on his broken promises and take other feminist viewpoints into consideration. We are also concerned that in an election where a more qualified and experienced female candidate with a better track record on women, gay, and children's rights ran for president, so many feminists at the national level and in academia opposed her candidacy and the support she garnered from the majority of American women and the LGBT community - who must now suffer for their biased opinions on misogynistic cable news networks.

It's time for us to overthrow these women and yell at the top of our lungs that they do not speak for us. We are not your kind of feminist.
